RATES

  • All rates are based upon work desired.
  • We will be glad to produce a quote for services.
  • Our work is excellent, and we may very well be the cheapest game in town.
  • If you have checked the qualifications page you are already aware that we bring. superior credentials and experience to all tasks.
  • Thus your total project cost may be less than with other hourly rate consultants.
  • In many cases you have experience with doctors, accountants, computer service technicians, and many other skilled and well trained craftsmen.
  • You know what they earn, and it should help you with your offer.

  • Consultant?

As consultants, we are paid in a variety of ways. But our rates must allow for many factors. For instance, we pay our own rent and utilities, stationary and supplies, computer equipment, web hosting, connection fees, professional association memberships, legal and accounting fees, telephone expenses, advertising and marketing costs, as well as our own medical expenses.

    Web Salaries:

According to the American Electronics Association (at year end 1998), here are the five best-paying jobs on the Web (note - these are averages, some people earn much more in these fields):

  • Internet strategist: $121,200 average annual salary
  • E-Commerce manager: $120,000
  • Internet strategy director: $114,700
  • Server engineer: $88,700
  • Web technologist: $78,800

  • Services :
  • Option 1

  • MOST clients negotiate a flat-rate (a project is usually computed at an hourly rate times expected time - if it takes longer then the client saves) to have a target of four top-25 rankings.
  • Such agreement fees are 50% prepaid and the balance at project end.
  • Option 2

  • Some clients choose to pay a small deposit, and then pay a $10 per week fee for each top25 search engine entry. This makes their cost a variable expense (pay for results and budgeted weekly), but the overall project may well cost them more than a flat-rate agreement. Minimum term is twenty-six weeks.
  • Option 3

  • Some clients negotiate a "piece-of-the-action" rate where there are ongoing commissions based upon overall site performance.
  • Option 4

  • Some clients negotiate multiple pages per site with multiple keywords per page. Such secondary pages are discounted and the site is processed as a flat-rate (see above).
  • Option 5

  • Some clients are happy to perform the "standard" hourly agreement, paying a negotiated rate (let's talk!) on a case-by-case basis.
  • Monitoring and MaintenanceThis is a flat negotiated rate as well per month on a prepaid retainer.
  • On-line Consulting
  • Clients are typically charged by the hour for this service.
  • The first week is approximately ten hours to cover research and initial design.
  • With the following weeks at about four to six hours each.
  • That makes the first month about sixteen hours if you want all services on a regular basis.
  • Access to your ISP FTP site is required for direct online site editing and submission.
  • Specific hourly rate is negotiable based upon the site, keywords, and competition.

  • Monitoring and Maintenance
  • This is a month-to-month agreement that provides for daily (usually Monday thru Friday) placement monitoring.
  • If the site drops off of the top 25 entries, trivial adjustment is included.
  • If the needed work to regain top ranking is not trivial, a new project at applicable rates is initiated.

  • Rates and Terms

  • We have rates and terms to fit all types of web sites
  • Large corporations and small shoestring-budget home office sites.
  • In all cases there is a deposit before work begins. When the deposit is consumed, the client may continue on an hourly basis or cancel the agreement.
  • A vast majority continue.

  • All sales in $US, prepaid when specified, and balances are Net 10 days
All billings outside of the US are prepaid by International Money Order only.
All consulting project deliverables are best efforts only.
